Just returned from Changshu, a small Jiangnan town, and I can't stop thinking about it. The slow pace of life in the small town is very appealing. The natural rural scenery is very beautiful, and the town has a rich history and culture. The gardens here are especially beautiful, with both scenery and stories. Climbing along the city wall, the scenery along the way is charming, and the view of the Jiangnan town from above is amazing. ✅Shanghu Lake I thought West Lake was beautiful until I went to Shanghu Lake in Changshu. The beautiful mountains and waters combined with the garden landscape are elegant and full of wildness. Whether walking on the long bridge over the lake or the small paths in the forest, or boating on the lake, taking a bamboo raft through the water forest, or taking a hot air balloon to overlook Shanghu Lake from above... it's very relaxing. 📝Travel tips: 1⃣️Changshu has a high-speed train, about 1 hour from Shanghai, 1.5 hours by car. 2⃣️Remember to buy a Changshu travel passport, with 8 themed travel routes and multiple stamps. Collect enough stamps to enjoy benefits. 3⃣️The autumn colors in Changshu are very charming, from mid-November to early December, the whole city is covered in golden armor. 4⃣️Changshu has many delicious snacks, such as hairy crabs, steamed dishes, beggar's chicken, fried noodles, cakes, duck blood glutinous rice, fermented rice cakes, etc., all not to be missed.
