Changsha | Gukaifu Temple

|Ancient Kaifu Temple. Kaifu Temple is located in Xinhe, north of the city gate of Changsha, facing the Xiangjiang River. It was first built in the second year of Tiancheng (927) during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period. It is one of the key open temples of Chinese Buddhism and a Zen Buddhist Linji sect. Yangqi sect temple. Kaifu Temple faces south and is divided into three sections on the central axis: the front section is the Three Saints Hall, the middle section is the Great Hall, and the back section is the Pilu Hall. The east wing rooms are the guest hall, dining hall, storehouse, abbot's room, and scripture collection. The west wing houses lecture halls, meditation halls, and old dormitory buildings. The temple is mainly built in the style of palaces in Ming and Qing dynasties.
