She came from Chang'an and was both a "Han imperial princess" and a "Queen of Changsha".

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the completion of the archaeological excavation of the Mawangdui Han Tomb, the Changsha Museum also launched a special exhibition "She Came from Chang'an - The Queen of Changsha, Yuyang, and Her Era" following the Hunan Museum. In 1993, Changsha unearthed a Han tomb with the inscription "Huang Chang Ti Cou", which was later confirmed to be the tomb of the Queen of Changsha - Yuyang. This was also one of the top ten archaeological discoveries in China that year. The cultural relics on display in the special exhibition revolve around the dual identity of the tomb owner Yuyang: "Han imperial princess" and "Queen of Changsha", including nearly 200 pieces of gold, bronze, pottery, jade, lacquer wood, and silk textiles, recreating the daily life of the nobles of the Han Changsha State more than two thousand years ago. The exhibition runs until February 16, 2025.
