It was built to commemorate King Taksin the Great's victory in the battle against Burma. After breaking through the Burmese siege from Ayutthaya and marching his army through Chachoengsao Province, he was successful in his coronation and built this pagoda as a symbol of his great victory. However, the original pagoda was eroded by the water and later rebuilt in the same area so that later generations can pay homage and commemorate his great kindness. ⭐ This memorial is peaceful, shady, and suitable for visiting to relax and study history.
