Wat Samanrattanaram

Wat Saman Rattanaram is a temple of the Thammayut sect. It is located on the bank of the Bang Pakong River in Bang Kaeo Subdistrict, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province. The area according to the title deed of the temple is 26 rai, 3 ngan, and 50 square wa. The temple is located in an auspicious feng shui position, as evidenced in 1879. When the temple was completed, it was named Wat Mai Khun Saman Pheum Nakhon. It was originally a Mahanikaya sect, but did not rule for long. The temple builder offered monks from the Thammayut sect, with Phra Khru Siripannya Muni as the presiding monk. Inside, there is the largest reclining Ganesha statue in Thailand, the largest Guan Yin statue in Thailand bestowing children, a large four-faced Brahma statue, Rahu, and a meditation hall. #beautifultemplesinThailand
