Goedkoop

A great cafe. The ambience was nice. It was cozy and comfy. The waiters and waitresses were not really friendly and full of smile, imho, but the speed of service was quick. I am not a great coffee lover. But, I certainly have affectionate spot for chocolate. I ordered chocodemelk. It was a hot chocolate with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar. Yes, it was said cinnamon sugar, but I didn't find the taste very cinnamon-ly. The chocolate was okay, but not great. I am a big fans of whipped cream and I really loved the whipped cream on chocodemelk. The whipped cream was not too plain, yet not too sweet. It was just right. Along with chocodemelk, I ordered pannekoek apple & classic caramel sauce with vanilla ice cream. A classic choice I made for the ice cream despite they offered other flavors: choc, strawberry, and ogura. But, the classic pairing never bored me. I was surprised to see the form of pannekoek. Thought it would be like American pancake. Hehe. It was like crepe layer. It was really nice. Everything was plated just right. I loved the taste and I thought there was a faint scent of cinnamon and faint taste of rum. I didn't for sure, but the dish was really great.
