Hong Kong Tourism Board's "Winter Town Central" reopens today

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) reopened its "Winter Town Central" at Statue Square in Central today (December 10). The "Starlight Gallery" on Chater Road and "Lights & Shadows in Central" will also launch simultaneously. "Lights & Shadows in Central" will utilize projections, LED animations, and lighting effects on the exterior walls of eight Central landmarks and a holographic projection floor installation within Statue Square. The HKTB hopes the event will bring warmth and hope, and send blessings of peace. Participating partners will also donate proceeds to those in need in the community. "Winter Town, Central" Location: Statue Square Garden (South & North), Central December 10, 2025 to December 21, 2025 • Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM • Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM December 22, 2025 to January 4, 2026 • Monday to Sunday: 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM Special Days: Extended opening hours until 1:00 AM on December 24, 25 and 31 Lights & Shadows, Central December 10, 2025 to January 4, 2026 • Monday to Friday: 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM • Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: 7:00 PM to 11:30 PM • Special Days: Extended opening hours from 7 pm to 1 am on December 24th, 25th and 31st. Note: Performances will be held every 30 minutes.
