A luxurious stay at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.

I visited Cebu in May and chose the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. I was very satisfied! It's located on Cebu Veterans Drive, Nivel Hills, which is very convenient. There are many attractions and restaurants nearby. The hotel boasts an excellent location—peaceful yet close to the city center. Although it's on a hill, transportation is very convenient. It's only a 20-minute drive to the city center. If you don't have a car, don't worry, the hotel offers a free shuttle service to major shopping malls. Plus, the view from here is absolutely stunning, overlooking the entire city of Cebu! The hotel's decor leans towards modern luxury, and the facilities are comprehensive, including a swimming pool, bar, and gym. The receptionist was super friendly and spoke fluent English. To make our stay even more comfortable, she arranged a room on a higher floor for us. Thumbs up!👍 The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a large and very soft bed, perfect for those who love big beds like me. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. The room's large windows offered a direct view of Cebu City, especially beautiful at night, with the city lights twinkling below. It was super romantic. The room also had free Wi-Fi, which was very fast, perfect for streaming videos. The hotel breakfast was incredibly diverse!🤩 There were Chinese, Western, and Japanese options, including various delicious pastries and fresh fruits. I especially loved the hotel's pho, which was fresh and flavorful. The restaurant ambiance was also great, with a relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, you can go to the rooftop bar for a drink and enjoy the Cebu City night view. There are many attractions near the hotel. You can visit Fun Group Cebu for local activities, or check out the Macbeth Library and the Museo Sugbo. There's so much to do, a day doesn't seem enough. For those who love shopping, you can visit the nearby Ayala Center Cebu and shop till you drop. However, the hotel is a bit old, and some areas of the rooms and bathrooms could use some renovation. During peak season, the airport pick-up service can sometimes be delayed, so it's recommended to plan your time accordingly. The overall service was excellent, but the attitude of some staff members could be improved. That would make it perfect! Overall, the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu is worth a visit. Despite a few minor drawbacks, its strengths outweigh its weaknesses. I look forward to coming back again!🌟
