The Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca is a spectacular sight!

If you visit Casablanca, be sure to visit the Hassan II Mosque! It is said to be the third largest mosque in the world. Non-Muslims can also visit. There is a ticket counter. The staff were very helpful, greeting us in Japanese, and even though it was my first time at a mosque, they explained things to us using a translation app. The admission fee was 140DH as of November 2024. It includes a guide. The start time is fixed, so wait near the ticket counter at the designated meeting time. When the time comes, a guide in English or Spanish will appear and guide you. The guidance lasted about 45 minutes. You can also pay by credit card! Walk a little from the ticket counter to the mosque. Then take off your shoes (they will lend you a bag to put your shoes in) and start your tour! The interior was so beautiful that it is hard to put into words.
