We met the boss standing in front of the shop, and he suddenly stopped us and asked, "Can you write Chinese?"⠀ ·⠀ It turned out that a Chinese tourist bought a carpet in his shop and planned to send it by mail, so the boss asked me to write the Chinese address for him. ⠀ ·⠀ The enthusiastic Turks will certainly not miss the opportunity to chat with others. After writing down the address for him, he invited us to visit the store and began to introduce the various styles of carpets, ranging from hundreds to thousands of lira. I pointed to a small double-sided handmade carpet and asked the owner the price. At first, he seemed to offer $300TL (about HK$390).
