Canadian town of Rocky Mountains

Canmore is a small town in Alberta, Canada, in the Rocky Mountains, about 81 km west of Calgary, near the southeast border of Banff National Park. Compared with most parts of Canada, Canmore has a mild climate, with the coldest temperature in January at − 8 °C, and because of low humidity, it feels warmer than the actual temperature. Summer is very short and cool, winter is long but sunny and dry. The area averages 330 days a year of sunny days.
