Aguada

In this land of cultural heritage, holding the history of not only India 🕍 but from around the world like Portugal🎪, Britain⛪ and many other Latin countries; here we see an important port built by Portuguese. Aguada fort dating back to 16th century is situated in North Goa near to Candolim beach. The word 'Aguada' means freshwater in portuguese; as because there's a freshwater spring inside this fort which served as a replenishing spot for all the passing by portuguese ships🚢. There was a time, when this was the largest freshwater storage in Asia. Even today, this place is famous for movie shootings; as it provides a fantastic view of Arabian sea from the top of the hill.
