This time, I experienced a true taste of old money European luxury on board… 🚢 MSC World Europa – a flagship vessel from the 300-year-old maritime legacy of MSC Cruises. ✨ First Impressions: A Floating Fairytale • The moment you step onboard, you’re greeted by a Swarovski crystal spiral staircase — over 60,000 crystals make it feel like a dream. • There’s also an 80-meter-long LED sky dome on the promenade, with stunning visual shows every day. • It’s pure luxury from top to bottom, and yes — it’s Instagram heaven. 1⃣️ Is it expensive? It depends on the itinerary and room type. I did a 5-day cruise in a balcony room for about (~£470 / $580) per person. It’s worth it: meals, accommodation, and many activities are included. Optional add-ons are available too — you only pay for what you want. 2⃣️ Is there WiFi on board? • Once you enter international waters, there’s no regular phone signal. • You can buy a data package, but honestly, going offline is part of the magic. • The MSC For Me app works without the internet — you can see schedules, make reservations, and check what’s happening on board. 3⃣️ What can you do on the ship? So much! Especially if you love fun and adventure: • Deck 19 Arizona Aquapark with 3 waterslides and an 82-meter-long rope bridge • F1 racing simulator • Bowling lanes • 4 pools and 9 hot tubs …and loads more. Yes! • There are three free main restaurants with traditional Western dishes. • Highly recommend Butcher’s Cut — an American steakhouse serving certified, free-range Angus beef. • Buffet is open 20 hours a day — perfect for night owls like me. 5⃣️ What about luggage?
