#2024wish I just spent a very fascinating day visiting the Temple and Theatre of Segesta, it's like finding old treasures in the middle of Sicily! The €12 cost of getting in seemed fair, because I got a time-traveling adventure. The Segesta Temple is an amazing view against the hills. Its big Doric columns and quiet spot make it a beautiful poem to old Greek buildings. Going to the temple, you get amazing views that go as far as your eyes can see. 🏞️✨ The close-by Theatre of Segesta is an amazing piece of old engineering. Cut into the hill, it provides a great mixture of nature and human work. You can nearly hear performances from long ago in the old chairs. 🎭🏰 After learning about the history, go for a walk in the archaeological area. The quiet area and the colorful wildflowers make a calm place. It's like entering a picture. 🌸🚶♂️ To see something different, visit the old town of Calatafimi-Segesta nearby. The small roads, cute squares and local restaurants make your Sicilian trip more fun. 🍝🏰 If you want more old treasures, the Greek city of Selinunte is just a little drive away.
