Everything is worth it

Mt. Makiling (Maquiling) is a dormant volcano in the provinces of Laguna and Batangas in the Philippines. Before becoming a state-owned forest reserve, this was the country's first national park. For forestry education, it is under the University of the Philippines - Los Banos. According to legend, the forest is protected and guarded by a spirit known as "Maria Makiling." If you look closely at the mountain, you'll notice a woman resting, specifically Maria Makiling. In the Philippines, stories about her helping others or being saddened are common. The climb to the summit will take about 4–5 hours; however, you should not be concerned because there are rest spots along the way. Camping is permitted so make sure to bring your camping stuffs. #scenicspotphotoguide#summervacationtravel#tripinspired#summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

Parish and National Shrine of St. Padre Pio

If you want to find peace and comfort, go to this place! The National Shrine of Saint Padre Pio is located in Barangay San Pedro, Santo Tomas, Batangas. The travel time from Manila to Santo Tomas is around two hours, depending on the traffic condition. It became one of the most significant landmarks, not only in the town of Santo Tomas but also in Batangas. It attracts thousands of visitors, mostly pilgrims from the neighboring towns and provinces and even outside the country especially during every 23rd of the month and September 23 for the Feast of Padre Pio and number of people attending the mass is not ordinary! #givethanks #givethanks

Caleruega Church

The Caleruega Church is very solemn place I can say. No much crowd. The road going to this church are quite rough, when You enter the gate You will feel the solemnity of the place. Quite and peaceful... Very clean and well maintained place. And the area is very relaxing, with lots of green lush, the view, the landscape, masterpiece architectural design, everything is awesome. . It’s like you had a very good escape from reality and from a hustle bustle crowded and noisy Manila. Just get a good spot where you wanted to sit, relax and even meditate. People here respect other people and they don’t really get noisy even those who are travelling in a group. This place is one of the most liked Churches to have the Sacrament of Marriage. They also have some Retreat Houses. This trip really is super worth it and I would love to come back again. Entrance fee is PHP 50.00 #givethanks #givethanks
