The Egyptian Museum.

The Egyptian Museum is the one of the oldest archaeological museum with the largest collection of antiquities in Cairo. It is a historic landmark in downtown, which makes it really easy to get there either by taxy or walking if you stay in nearby hotels. The collection is huge so you might want to spend three or four hours if you want to read specific details. It is a big place, colourful and with a beautiful architecture. After the visit, you can also enjoy some shopping or nice food as there are many restaurants and shops around the area.
