STEIGENBERGER CAIRO : CENTRAL BUT NOT QUITE WHAT WE EXPECTED

#newyearnewtrip It was our first time staying at a Steigenberger Hotel and we were pretty excited. We wanted somewhere central and went with this one because of the good reviews. The hotel was in a central location, but somehow, something felt off. There was a KFC nearby, though a bit of a walk, but the vibe when we were walking around didn’t feel great, maybe it's a different kind of atmosphere to what we're used to. Hotel security was tight with bag scans at the entrance. Though the hotel was nice, it didn't have that sense of warm and welcoming. The room was alright, but the bathroom was a highlight, modern and well designed.
