Jewelled sea - natural wonder downunder

It has always been one of my bucket lists to visit the Great Barrier Reef and it certainly did not disappoint! The weather was perfect on our sailing day with cerulean blue sky and light breeze. We booked a cruise tour which included two reef locations- Saxon Reef and Hasting Reef. It was one of the most amazing experience ever! The two sites were quite different in terms of their marine landscapes and great for different activities. The Saxon Reef was relatively greater in depth and would be a perfect location for a dive, whereas Hasting Reef has spectacular coral reef at proximity even when snorkelling. We saw a huge local fish called ‘Wally’ (Maori Wrasse) and many other marine life! Would love to visit another reef next time!
