The Lillipad Cafe

#australiatrip Really popular place in Cairns City so thought it must be good if all the locals love it. Pretty easy to grab a table despite it being a full house, they just have so many tables you’re bound to get one. I didn’t really enjoy their ordering system - having to go to the counter to order rather than someone taking your order at the table. Menu was pretty good, lots of variety. Food came out in ample time besides my sister who was left waiting for much longer while the rest of us we’re well into our dishes. The portions are huge, dare I say too big. Food was pretty average, nothing to write home about. At least you’ll be full afterwards because of the amount of food. But nothing special.
