A Cabin Getaway 2 Hours from Manila

Located at Bustos, Bulacan, My Cabin by Selah is a cabin-type resort that offers a different kind of staycation just 2 hours away from Manila. An outdoor experience close to nature allowing you to take a breather from the noise and chaos of the city. Going there solo or groups of 12 won’t be a problem as the resort offers A-frame cabins of different sizes. You can also choose a theme you prefer under the cabin size category you chose. The resort has an in-house restaurant so your meals will be taken care of if you don’t plan on bringing food with you. Cooking your own food won’t be an issue also since every cabin has fully equipped kitchen complete with cookware and dinnerware. Depending on the size of the cabins, the only amenities that differ are whether there’ll be a plunge pool in addition to the private pools, and the no. of parking slots. Amenities you can avail for a price are the “aesthetic” outdoor kawa bath and private bonfire pit. The cabins are also provided with bicycles as the resort is huge. You wouldn’t get bored here as the resort have a farm, animals & an outdoor cinema. My family enjoyed the overnight staycation we booked over one weekend. The road to the resort was a bit confusing as it was our first time going there. We dropped by a nearby rest stop to buy some snacks and necessities as there’s no store within the resort, though if you really need to, you can ask the bellboys for a favor. Upon arriving, we checked-into our medium size cabin and started taking photos. Our cabin has a loft where the sleeping areas is, and a net for lounging and playing. We immediately used the pools and swam until nighttime. We had dinner over games and requested for the staff to light our bonfire. We toasted some marshmallows for dessert and cooked hotdogs over the grill near the picnic table. We all went to bed after. Right after waking up peacefully in the middle of the farm, we swam in the pool again and requested for the kawa bath to be prepared. We paid 11,000Php (264sgd) for the cabin only. Take note though the hotel does not provide towels, toiletries, drinking water, among others as part of their covid-safety protocols.
