A heartfelt conversation shared with a friend

Sitting side by side with a friend on the bench in front of the Daeungjeon Hall at Samgwangsa Temple, the noise of the city faded away, and our hearts opened up. Stories we usually couldn't share naturally flowed out, drawn by the tranquility of the temple. Instead of saying "It's okay" to the words "It was tough," simply being there together became the greatest comfort. Though we spent much of the time silently gazing at the scenery, even that silence felt warm.
