Half a century has passed since the war, and all parts of Busan have ushered in great construction and development, but Gamcheon-dong seems to have been left in the past. In 2009, the residents of Gamcheon-dong cooperated with artists to promote the Village Art Project, preserving the history and value of Gamcheon-dong through the creation of paintings and installation art. The Little Prince and the Fox, with crowds queuing to take photos, were also public art created at this time. Unfortunately, the fox was injured recently and was wrapped with a no-crossing tape and a notice stating "Do Not Touch".
