Late September to early October is the best time to visit Hemu Village. Although there were more fallen leaves than usual during this year's National Day holiday, and it wasn't the best time to see the autumn scenery, it still felt like walking into an oil painting. You need to park in the open-air parking lot at the entrance of the scenic area. Parking spaces are tight and easily blocked during peak season. After entering the scenic area, you need to take a bus to the transfer center, and then transfer to the village bus to various scenic spots in the village. 💯 Must-do things in Hemu ✅ Watch a sunrise at the Harden Viewing Platform and see the whole village bathed in golden light. ✅ Check in at the cabins scattered in the valley and see the smoke rising from the chimneys. ✅ Stroll along the birch forest by the river and sit among the yellow leaves to listen to the sound of the gurgling river. ✅ Ride a horse to Meilifeng and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. ✅ Go to the Sunset Viewing Platform and wait quietly for the sunset. ✨ Tips 1️⃣ Horse riding to Harden Viewing Platform costs CNY 160 per person. Of course, if you are fit, it only takes about 30–40 minutes to walk from Hemu Bridge. 2️⃣ The condition for seeing the morning mist is rain the day before.
