It would be a shame if anyone didn't take a road trip in Xinjiang. As a liberal arts student who loves geography, my first trip to Xinjiang felt like completing a full circle of education. From the three mountains and two basins to the Tianshan Mountains stretching out before my eyes on the road, from the 1.66 million square kilometers on the map to the real experience of snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests, grasslands, deserts, and Gobi. The vastness of the world, the richness of the landforms, the abundance of cattle, horses, sheep, and camels 🐫. Trust me, the most beautiful scenery in Xinjiang is always on the road. I need to save up for my next plane ticket.
