The Hungarian State Opera is an opera house completed in 1884, and an important cultural facility where classical music and ballet performances are held. The interior of the theater is decorated with gold leaf, beautiful ceiling paintings, and luxurious chandeliers, making it simply gorgeous. The ceiling painting in particular is magnificent, painted by the famous painter Carl Locz with the theme of "Gods of Olympus". The theater will undergo major restoration in 2022, and while maintaining the beauty of the original architecture, the latest stage technology will be introduced, transforming it into an even more wonderful facility.
