The exhibition hall was designed to show the history of ceramics by era. In particular, the changes in glaze on artifacts from celadon to buncheong ware caught my eye!! I was able to catch a glimpse of the craftsmen's technical know-how at the time by looking at the inscriptions engraved on the inside of a 15th-century jar through an enlarged video!! 📌 Points for solo travelers Recommended activities: Record the characteristics of each era using the ceramic glaze color comparison chart (free distribution at the information desk) Hidden spot: West corner of the exhibition hall → Exhibition space with 3D printed models of ceramic production tools Recommended snack: Yuzu tea + pumpkin pancake set in a handmade ceramic cup at the museum's 1st floor cafe (8,300 won) 🚨 Notes There are dark areas, so it is recommended to move slowly Do not touch the 3D models and only view them visually Additional information provided when installing the exhibition explanation app "Bucheon Ceramics" (ask at the information desk) In the "Listen to the sound of the stone" corner, I listened to the sound art that recreated the sound of the glaze hardening through headphones, which was a fascinating experience discovering the hidden rhythm of the ceramics process. After finishing the exhibition and seeing the experimental works of modern ceramic artists, I was intrigued by the process of old techniques being reborn as modern art!!!
