Everyone thinks There’s so much Mexican food available⋯⋯ Italian food may be a safer choice for Asians⋯⋯ As a result we decided to take the plunge and try Sri Lankan food in the UK! 😅 Because we were looking for a restaurant for dinner, we went to Stokes Croft at the north end of Bristol city center. As we walked... we couldn't help but get nervous because of the dense and ostentatious graffiti. Some even climbed onto the doors and windows of the building to ask their friends. , he used "Sham Shui Po" to describe this area. To briefly describe, Bristol was in dire straits after World War II, but development was concentrated in the city center, Stokes Croft was marginalized, and there were many abandoned houses. Gradually, small businesses with local characteristics have gathered, as well as street artists’ studios and gathering spots. However, using "Sham Shui Po" to describe this place only gives me, a tourist from Hong Kong, a general impression, and it cannot simply summarize a place. The restaurant we ate at that night was called Nadu. The owner is a Sri Lankan. We ordered grilled fish and boiled mutton. Selling point, give it a try! 🍸 After dinner, the sun was still shining brightly during the long British summer day, but most of the shops except restaurants were closed. I didn’t explore in depth. I just visited here and later found out that the famous graffiti master Banksy’s masterpiece The Mild Mild West was there. On the wall across the street from the restaurant, we actually missed it! 😭
