Makasutu nature resort lodge

Several years ago I visited this place, it lies very near to a big town of Brikama in The Republic of Gambia, a country in what they call West Africa. Makastu has a vast dedicated areas for paid visitors only. It looked like a nature reserve park but has bars and guest entertainment shows also. Didn’t cost too much time and money but I enjoyed a lot. There are money families inside the park. You can be guided to climb a palm tree using a dedicated tool as local palm wine collectors do if you like. Near a stream connected to the big river of The Gambia, there is also a place where you can climb up and up the stairs up to almost top of a very artificial stage, probably the highest place in the “park”. Then you get practically a 360 degrees natural view horizontally, or you can look down and see the beautiful scenery around the river. At the time of my visit, the admission was less than about twenty US dollars per person, not too costly. There was a place for a stay in the night, which at that time was more than four hundred US dollars according to a staff there.
