Discover Brest: Belarus’s border historical city🇧🇾

No visit to Belarus would be complete without a trip to this town. Brest is best known for its fortress and its proximity to the Polish border. The size of the fortress is really impressive. It’s not only a historical site but also a lovely place for a walk. Entrance is free. Brest is quite small. Its main street—Sovetskaya—reminded me a lot of the streets in Nizhny Novgorod: cozy, quiet, with neat, low-rise buildings.
