The entrance fee was €10, which I found very reasonable considering the beauty and historical significance of the place. The castle’s well-preserved architecture and serene gardens create a picturesque setting that’s perfect for a leisurely visit. Inside, the rooms are filled with antique furnishings and historical artifacts that offer a glimpse into aristocratic life through the centuries. The guided tour was excellent, providing fascinating insights into the castle's history and the local nobility. After exploring the castle, I wandered around Bornem and enjoyed the peaceful ambiance of the town. The nearby Basilica of Our Lady and the local shops are definitely worth a visit.
