Cheongnyang-sa Temple in Winter Season

#wintertrip Cheongnyangsa (alternatively: Chongnyangsa or Cheongryangsa) Temple is located on Cheongnyang Mountain. The mountain is known for its twelve peaks and for this temple nestled among the peaks which make a lotus shape around the temple. According to feng shui, it is the ideal place for a temple. The temple was built in 663 by either Wonhyo or Uisang, two of the most preeminent Buddhist scholars in Korean history. Most sources agree that it was built by Wonhyo, but the signs on site seem to suggest it was built by Uisang. It underwent reconstruction in the 14th century by Gobong.
