A slice of Bavaria in Italy

Walking around the Northern Italian town you will be forgiven for thinking you were just outside Munich or perhaps Austria. This delightful alpine town has plenty of things to see and do. The South Tirol museum of archeology gives fascinating insight into the forensic science used to understand how Otzi the iceman lived and died over 5000 years ago. Taken the cable car from the city centre to over 1000m gives an incredible view of not just the city itself but the surrounding, imposing Alps. #alps #bolzano #otzi #italy
