You must visit the Pine Tree Peak at Sayram Lake!

As an annual pass member, my favorite spot at Sayram Lake is Pine Tree Peak 🌲 I take my friends there every time, it's a spot you simply can't refuse! It's about a 20km journey from the east entrance. The hiking trail consists entirely of wooden boardwalks, except for the path beyond the railing at the summit that visitors have opened up. You won't encounter any bad paths - they're all quite easy to walk. Even for those without much outdoor experience, the round trip takes about 3 hours. Two classic viewpoints: 1️⃣ After walking along the wooden boardwalk for about 45 minutes, you'll be greeted by a vast grassland. In May and June, you can see small yellow flowers as shown in photo 2. From here, you can view Sayram Lake against the distant mountains - blue sky, white clouds, grassland, lake water, and distant mountains... truly a gorgeous scene! Laying down a mat here and relaxing is absolutely wonderful! 2️⃣ From this platform, walk for another 45 minutes to reach the summit. This is the perfect spot to view the Guozigou Bridge - the same view as in Li Xian's photos. If you're not interested in the Guozigou Bridge, you can just stay at the first viewpoint without climbing further up.
