Beachfront tearoom with a stunning sea view

#afternoonteareview The Silversand Tearoom is located on the beach in Blankenberge, Belgium. If you sit by the window inside the shop, you will see the beach view. However, if it is late spring to early autumn, when the weather is not too cold, the shop also has outdoor seating in front of the shop, as well as a temporary area extending out onto the beach with clear glass windows to provide a clear view. It is suitable for sitting and chilling, listening to the sound of the waves, and having a light meal in the afternoon. The food here has a variety of soups, pastas, salads, fried foods, and of course, there are desserts and drinks to choose from on the menu, as is fitting for a Tearoom. Here is what we ordered: ➡️ Huisgemaakte Tomatensoep met Veel Gehaktballetjes It is a homemade tomato soup made in the true Belgian style, with minced beef shaped into small meatballs. There is also grated cheese to add for a rich and flavorful taste. For us, we poured all the cheese into the bowl provided. When we scooped it up, there was melted cheese that stretched and stuck to the spoon. It's a great combination with bread. ➡️ Wafelfrietjes met Vanille-ijs, Advokaat, Aardbeien en Slagroom The dessert I ordered was Wafelfrietjes, which is waffles, but made into sticks instead of sheets. I like it more than the sheet type because it gives a lot of crispy skin. The stuff here is very delicious. The dough is light and crispy with a beautiful porous inside. The vanilla ice cream that they gave was also delicious. Eat it with fresh strawberries, whipped cream, and advokaat (which is eggnog). It goes well together. For drinks, we ordered both tea and hot coffee to eat with the dessert.
