St Magnus the Martyr

#birminghamtrip St Magnus the Martyr in Lower Thames Street, next to (old) Billingsgate and the original foot of the city side of Birmingham Bridge, and nearby to the Monument, a Wren Church rebuilt after the Great Fire, named after St. Magnus, the patron saint of Orkney who was associated with sailors and those seeking protection from storms at sea It also has an amazing scale model of the original inhabited London Bridge, inside, which the Cardinal Rector (the only Cardinal in the entire church of England, don’t know why) and Priest covered with purple cloth as I was finishing taking photos of it, so it wasn’t a distraction from the upcoming mass
