Group travel to Binh Lieu during the silver grass season

Located about 280 km from Hanoi and only 100 km from Ha Long City, Binh Lieu is easily accessible by bus or car. To save time, consider taking a limousine car, which will get you to Binh Lieu in approximately 4-5 hours via the highway. Binh Lieu is beautiful year-round, but the most special season is the silver grass season, which lasts from late October to November (and can extend into early December). We chose to travel in late October when the climate is pleasantly cool. Some of the best spots to admire the silver grass are along the Border Patrol Path, particularly at landmarks like the "Dinosaur's Backbone" (Sống lưng khủng long), which offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills blanketed in silver grass. Group travel is fun! Sharing a private car to go to Binh Lieu and then renting motorbikes to sightsee around is a great way to explore. Especially when going hiking to the milestones, we can cheer each other on along the way! If you have a 3-day, 2-night trip planned, here is our recommended itinerary: Day 1: Travel to Binh Lieu Afternoon: Explore Binh Lieu Town. Day 2: Trekking Adventure Early Morning: Trek to border marker 1305, passing through the Dragon's Spine. Lunch: Enjoy a local meal after your trek. Evening: Head to border marker 1297 to watch the sunset. Along the way, consider visiting a few other milestones if you have time. Day 3: Nature Exploration and Departure Visit: Explore the Cao Ly Mountain Range. Lunch: Have lunch in Binh Lieu. Departure: Depart for Hanoi. #grouptravel
