tiny little fairy penguins at dusk , if you are patient and quiet!! can easily be found At Bicheno Tasmania. local people are friendly and helpful. talking to them, they should be able to point you in the direction of these cute little shy creatures. they are very timid animals so you must wait in the dark staying as wuiet & still as you can while waiting for them to come to shore to nest for the night. we were here in November.
