The Swiss Federal Palace is conveniently located in the heart of Bern, making it easily accessible by public transportation. From Bern Central Station, it's about a 10-minute walk through the old town to reach the palace. Additionally, you can take a city bus or tram for even more convenient access. Major tram lines include numbers 6, 7, and 8, and if you get off at the 'Bundesplatz' stop, you'll arrive right in front of the palace. The Swiss Federal Palace is the political center of Switzerland, housing both the Federal Assembly and the Federal Council. Completed in 1902, this palace is built in the Neo-Renaissance style, making it historically significant in its own right. Inside, you'll find various artworks and decorations representing all regions of Switzerland, with the magnificent mosaic on the dome ceiling being particularly famous. This place attracts many tourists not only for its political importance but also for its architectural beauty. When I visited the Swiss Federal Palace, I was amazed by its grand scale and beautiful architecture. The interior tour was especially informative, offering deep insights into Switzerland's political system and history. At Bundesplatz, the square surrounding the palace, I enjoyed seeing locals leisurely spending their time, and it was wonderful to share that experience with them. It was a unique opportunity to directly feel the culture and history of Switzerland at its center.
