📝Bern is said to have been built on a hill surrounded by the Aare River in the 12th century. - Bern is the capital of Switzerland, but it is often passed through as a transit point (personal opinion). Despite that, there were more things to see than expected. ① Near Bern Train Station🚊 ②③ Swiss Federal Parliament Building It is said to be a neo-Renaissance style building built in 1902 after Bern was designated as the federal capital in 1848. You can see the Bern city below the building. However, the view was more beautiful from the rose garden side. A good place to go for a walk❗️ ④⑤⑥ Old Town 📍Kramgasse 40, Bern 3011 Switzerland It is said to have been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983. As expected of an old town, there are various shops such as restaurants, souvenir shops, and bookstores. It is quite fun to look around🙃 ⑦ City view from the cathedral 📍Münsterpl. 1, 3000 Bern, Switzerland When I climbed to the top of the cathedral, I could see the peaceful city of Bern at a glance. This is the highest spire in Switzerland at 100 meters high and is said to be the best observation deck in Bern.
