This is a paradise for photography enthusiasts, and today we especially recommend four of the best observation decks to enjoy the panoramic view of Bergamo. 🏰 Rocca di Bergamo This 13th-century ancient fortification is a great place to overlook Bergamo. Standing here, you can take in the upper city, lower city, vast plains, and even see Milan in the distance. 🗼 Campanone Located in the center of Piazza Vecchia, the Campanone Tower is 52.76 meters high and is an ideal landmark to enjoy the magnificent view of the upper city. The tower has the largest bell in the Lombardy region, and many classic Bergamo promotional photos are taken here. 🏰 S. Vigilio Castle Climb a little higher to S. Vigilio Castle for a wider view. You can reach here by the S. Vigilio mountain train or on foot. I personally recommend walking up the mountain from the bottom station, as the scenery along the way is more charming. If you have the energy, take the train up the mountain and walk down to experience different scenery. 🗼 Torre dei Caduti This memorial tower in the center of the lower city of Bergamo was built to commemorate the soldiers who died during World War I and symbolizes modern Bergamo.
