Bengbu Longzi Lake Scenic Area丨Bengbu's "Urban Green Lung"

Longzi Lake Scenic Area is one of the iconic attractions of Bengbu City and is known as the "urban green lung" of Bengbu. The entire lake is connected by two bridges in the north and south, namely the Pearl Bridge in the north and the Longzi Lake Bridge in the south. Those who like running can run along the lake, about 7 kilometers. On the west ring road of Longzihu Park, you can encounter the same sculpture as the one on Mingye that marks the geographical boundary between north and south China. It was designed by the famous artist Han Meilin, and there are fountain shows every morning and afternoon. There is a large lawn by the lake, on which there is a row of white moonlight swings. It is very pleasant to lie on the swings and enjoy the evening breeze. Heading north along the lakeside, there is a cruise center where you can row a boat on Longzi Lake. Sitting on the boat, you can see the white TV tower reflected in the lake. On the south side of Donghai Avenue in Longzi Lake Park, there is an underwater timing tower, which is the symbol of the Anhui Provincial Games. Continue south along the West Ring Road and you will reach the Lake Shengmingyue Ancient Residence, where more than 400 characteristic buildings from different periods are placed in a protected location. However, it does not seem to be open to the public yet. There is a hotel inside and you can take a look around if you stay there. Bengbu Longzi Lake is an inland lake in the city and a national 4A-level tourist attraction. It has beautiful scenery and unique cultural heritage. It is a good place for leisure, sightseeing and vacation.
