Pigeon Rocks Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
In Beirut, in addition to the high-rise cement forest, the only natural beauty is Pigeon Rock. Pigeon Rock is made up of two rock arches, adjacent to the cliffs, from which you can enjoy stunning sunsets and sea views.
Leaving the city center along the Hamra Street towards the sea, about half an hour to the promenade, facing the Mediterranean is a hotel and restaurant that rises along the seafront West came to the famous Pigeon Rock. Two weathered stone mountains stand in the Mediterranean Sea, walking on the shores of Pigeon Rocks and looking back to the shore. The Mediterranean and the tall buildings blend into one.
One side is the vast blue sea, and the other side is a high-rise cement building, which is completely different from a different city in a city.
Lebanon travel, what to see? These places surprised me.
🌟I quite like Lebanon as a country. Compared to other Middle Eastern countries, it is more open and modern. The 10-day trip left me with a very deep impression of this small country by the Mediterranean Sea. Although the prices here are very high and there are frequent power outages, I still love this ancient country.
1️⃣Firstly: The natural scenery of Lebanon is very beautiful. It is an ancient country located next to the Mediterranean Sea. Most of the cities are built around the sea, so when you arrive at each city, you will see the city's mountain and sea style. Many people come here to fish. The Mediterranean Sea is especially blue during the day, and the sunset in the evening is also worth seeing. My favorite is the seaside avenue in the capital Beirut. There is a place called Pigeon Rock, where the sunset is especially beautiful.
2️⃣Secondly: Prices in Lebanon are extremely high, no less than Europe and America. a taxi from the airport to the city center costs 20 US dollars despite the short distance. Accommodation, phone cards, and data plans are also very expensive.
3️⃣Thirdly: Lebanon has many ancient sites, which are very suitable for friends like me who love cultural travel. The earliest history of Lebanon can be traced back to 7000 years ago, and it is the city where humans have continuously lived in the world.
Here you can see the early Phoenician cuneiform script in the world; here you can see one of the best preserved Roman theaters and temples in the world, here you can see the castle of the Ottoman period, here you can also see the remains of Arab period temples, and you can also see Greek columns and so on.
4️⃣Fourthly: People in Lebanon are very friendly. When I walk on the streets and alleys, locals will enthusiastically tell me how to take local buses. Lebanon implements a free visa on arrival policy for Chinese citizens. After arriving at the airport, you can go through the procedures and enter the country for up to 15 days.
🌟So, how could I not love Lebanon, a country with such beautiful scenery, rich historical sites, and friendly people?
