A place to visit in Beijing to get a real feel for the city's beauty and community is the drum towers. In the evening the people of the community gather to play card games and sports. There are often roller skate classes or football classes and sometimes buskers will stop by to sing or perform. In the evening golden hour it is one of the most warm and beautiful places in Beijing.
