Exploring the Great Wall at Badaling

I ventured to Badaling to climb the Great Wall around noon, expecting to struggle due to my lack of fitness. Surprisingly, the climb was quite manageable, although the sun was intense, making the back of my head feel uncomfortably hot. Concerned about heatstroke, we decided to stop at the North Tower 7 and took the cable car down. The entire journey, including breaks, took about 70 minutes. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was stunning! I couldn't help but think of the lyrics 'the blue sky remains, the clouds are scattered' by Jian Ge.
