The Red Brick Art Museum's new exhibition is here!

"Chiharu Shiota: Silent Emptiness" has opened at the Red Brick Art Museum! This exhibition features six new site-specific works, continuing her signature spiderweb-like weaving of red and black lines, while incorporating Eastern-inspired architecture as the main body of the works. ⛺[Things to know]: "Multiple Realities": Empty dresses slowly rotate in a dimly lit space, their shadows reflected on the water, as if souls are dancing. "Echoes of Time": Stones🪨 intertwined with black lines symbolize the passage of time and material erosion. The holes in the stones seem to tell ancient stories, making one feel the flow of time. "Gate to Silent Emptiness": Countless red threads traverse ancient doorways, breaking through the limitations of physical space and constructing a spiritual passage beyond reality. The red threads are both a link and a trace of rupture, challenging the boundaries between the material and the spiritual. "Transformation of Consciousness": Upon entering this exhibition area, the allusion "Butterfly Dream" comes to mind.
