Beijing 2 nights 3 days travel itinerary

Beijing, the cultural capital of China. There are so many things to see that even 2 nights and 3 days feel very short. I visited with 3 close friends and took a 9:30 flight from Korea and arrived at Beijing Daxing Airport after a 2-hour flight. Usually, Koreans stay in Wangfujing, but we stayed near Tsinghua University. We stayed in a place a little further away to see and reminisce about the place where my friend studied abroad. The subway was well-developed and taxi fares were cheap, so we were able to get around without much inconvenience. After arriving on the first day, we went to our hotel, left our luggage, had a light lunch, and then went to see the Golden Mask Dynasty performance. It is said to be a performance directed by Zhang Yimou, and it was large and magnificent, so it was fun to watch. It is cheaper to reserve online than to buy tickets on site, so it is better to prepare in advance. After watching the Golden Mask Dynasty performance, we went to Wangfujing Street to have dinner. In order to taste Beijing Kaoya, which is a must-try when traveling to Beijing, I visited Jeonju Deokul, which is also visited by many locals. If you roll up the chewy duck meat on the wheat pancake with green onions and cucumbers and eat it, you will think that this is heaven. The street food stalls of Wangfujing have disappeared, so it is hard to find the atmosphere of the night market, but there are many shops that are open late, so it is good to fill your stomach with snacks there. On the second day, I took a taxi to the Summer Palace and went to see it. It was an interesting trip to find traces of Empress Dowager Cixi, who coveted the king's power. Since there is a Korean guide, you can have a more fulfilling time if you listen to the tour. After leaving the Summer Palace, I had lunch at Donglai Shun, famous for its lamb hotpot, and then visited Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. You need to make a reservation in advance for both places. Tiananmen Square can be reserved for free through the WeChat mini program, and the Forbidden City must be reserved on the official website. Since there is a limit on the number of people, if you are visiting on the weekend, you must make a reservation in advance. The Forbidden City is so huge that you should plan enough time to visit. I was pressed for time and crowds, so I left in a hurry, but there is so much to see, so take your time and look around. After leaving the magnificent yellow palace, we head to Jingshan Park, where you can see the Forbidden City from above. It is a small hill, so you can climb up quickly without much difficulty. It is also a place with a sad history where the last emperor of the Ming Dynasty committed suicide, but the view from here is really great. It is a short walk from the back gate of the Forbidden City, so I recommend visiting after your tour. We headed to the food court in Wangfujing APM for dinner. 很久以前羊肉串 It is said to be a popular lamb skewer restaurant these days, and the staff were friendly and the prices were not too expensive, so we had a great time eating as much as we wanted. There is also a large mart and a famous tea house called Cheonbokmyeongcha nearby, so it was good for buying souvenirs. On the last day, we went to Badaling Great Wall by train. It takes about 20 minutes by train from downtown Beijing. If you take the cable car, you can quickly get to the top of the Great Wall. It's quite steep, so wear comfortable sneakers. I'm an office worker, so I went on a short trip of 2 nights and 3 days, but if I had one more day, I think I could have visited Universal Studios and made it more fulfilling. The total travel cost was about 600,000 won per person, so it was cheap considering I took a taxi and ate what I wanted. I'm excited to see which city I'll go to next❤️ #ChinaTravelMoment #Beijing #ChinaTravel #BeijingTravel
