2025 Beijing Lantern Festival: Best Places to See Lanterns

For the Lantern Festival, I highly recommend the Beijing Lantern Festival at Wenyu River. After seeing it, you'll feel like you've seen the best of the best. 🌟 After seeing the first Wenyu River Lantern Festival in 2024, I was immune to most lanterns, but I was still amazed by two sets of lanterns. One was the peach blossom lantern at Gate 9, as shown in pictures 1 and 2, which was so beautiful that I couldn't bear to leave. The other was the tea-themed lantern in picture 6, which emitted a refreshing jasmine tea fragrance, satisfying both my visual and olfactory senses. 🌟 The lanterns are divided into four groups: Encountering Wonderland, Encountering Splendor, Encountering Prosperity, and Encountering the Future. It's basically a single route. 🚉 Transportation tips: We entered through Gate 1 and passed through the bridge tunnel to reach the most beautiful lantern at Gate 9. It's worth entering through Gate 1 because there are some beautiful small lanterns along the way. 👍 This year, there's a very user-friendly addition: several "warm rooms." If you get too cold outside for a long time, you can go inside to warm up and refill your hot water.
