Rosewood Beijing is the first hotel of the Rosewood brand in China. It has 283 rooms and is located in the center of Chaoyang District, Beijing, facing the landmark of Beijing - CCTV. The hotel has seven restaurants and lounges, including the 2021 Michelin one-star restaurant Country Kitchen, Bistrot B, Bistrot B Lounge Bar, Red Bowl, Mei Bar, Sense Spa, and The House of Dynasties. Inspired by traditional Chinese landscape paintings, Bar Studio, a design studio from Melbourne, Australia, collaborated with PLandscape, a resort landscape designer from Bangkok, to create an environment that is closely connected with guests. The juxtaposition of space and materials forms the basis of the project: the interaction between exterior and interior, rough and refined, traditional and modern. In the eyes of BAR Studio, Rosewood Beijing has a unique style intertwined with its cultural background. Rosewood Beijing has more outdoor landscape space than other hotels in the city. As the chief designer of the hotel, BAR Studio makes full use of this unique advantage to interpret the iconic "A Sense of Place" concept of Rosewood - allowing each hotel to reflect the specific history, culture, and sensitivity of the city where it is located.
