2D1N Family Trip to Yanqing for the Spring Festival!

During the Spring Festival, take your family to Yanqing, Beijing, to check out the 3rd World Horticultural Expo Lantern Festival and enjoy a family trip full of festive vibes! This year's 3rd World Horticultural Expo Lantern Festival features the horticultural culture and architectural essence of 31 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, as well as Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. Each lantern is like a symbol of homesickness. The 360° panoramic light show at the China Pavilion is especially stunning, as if you are traveling through time and space! There are also folk performances such as dragon and lion dances and flash mobs, which create a festive atmosphere that will keep your family entertained! To avoid driving at night, we stayed at the Beijing Marriott Hotel Yanqing! The lobby is full of festive vibes: money trees, red firecrackers, and snake toys are everywhere, and you can take great photos anywhere. We booked a mountain view twin room and a mountain view suite with an extra bed for five people. The suite is especially worth mentioning, as it has a living room with an extra bed and a separate bathroom, and a bedroom suite with a bathroom and shower separated by a sliding door. Three people can stay without disturbing each other, and the stunning mountain view from each room will lift your spirits! If you are traveling with kids, we recommend the Little Yellow Duck-themed family room, which kids will love! The room is full of childlike elements, from the sheets to the murals, from the toys to the children's tent, and even has a slide and swing, which is very thoughtful. The hotel also has a gym and an indoor heated pool, as well as a children's pool designed specifically for kids. On the same floor, there is a children's play area with a ball pit, slide, and building blocks, where kids can have a great time! On the second day, we had a buffet breakfast at the Goji Kitchen & Bar on the first floor, which had a wide variety of fresh food, especially the pancakes! After breakfast, you can continue to explore nearby attractions such as the Badaling Great Wall, Yudushan, or Yongning Ancient City. If you like skiing, you can go to the nearby Shijinglong Ski Resort, which is very convenient to drive to. The 2D1N trip to Yanqing was full of festive vibes and a warm family atmosphere. Both the stunning lantern festival and the comfortable hotel experience made every family member very satisfied. My mom and mother-in-law were full of praise for the mountain view room and festive decorations, and we created a happy family memory!
