🎈Cibei Temple in Taoranting Park is located in the southwest corner of Huxin Island in Taoranting Park, Beijing. It is an ancient temple from the Yuan Dynasty. In the 34th year of the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, Jiang Zao, the then Minister of Works, built a pavilion in Cibei Temple and named it "Taoran" after the poem "Wait until the chrysanthemums are yellow and the home-brewed wine is ready, and get drunk with you" by Bai Juyi, a poet of the Tang Dynasty. 🎈🎈After the completion of Taoran Pavilion, it attracted many literati and scholars to come here to relax and gather because of its quiet and elegant surroundings.
